honeymoon, part 4 (whale day)
by the 5th day of our trip I was feeling well enough to take the two hour trip to Victoria to go whale watching. We were going to see Orcas (J Pod) in/near the San Juan Islands. I love whales. I had been looking forward to this for pretty much ever.
it was as awesome as I thought it would be and then some. We weren't quick enough to take pictures, but we were in the middle of a pod, saw a bunch swimming, and even saw 2 breach.
and we did get a video... :)

i need some boat shoes and some tall tree beauty in my life right now.
ReplyDeleteI know this blog is about whales and I also know what it means when a whale breaches, but... I just learned that the word breach this close to the due date can make my stomach drop and my heart race. Weird.
