sds2012

remember this?
well we just did it again.
we took it up a few notches on the cheese scale this time.

if we were at a 7 on the scale before... we were probably at a 1,489 this time.

first, Julianna suggested that we each bring some of our "favorite can't-live-without-it things" to gift to each other.
she brought:
-Salon Selectives (when Shellie and I saw this, we both said "Salon Selectives is still around?"
-some snacks
-and most importantly, COUPONS for the Tanger outlets and Target (both of which were scheduled destinations for our day)
-and a really cute letter about her choices.

Shellie gave us
-delicious dark chocolate pomegranate morsels.
and I gave them
-a Garlic Zoom (if you don't have one, and you ever use garlic... you need one - I got these at Harmon's)
-and my favorite chap stick
you may have noticed them wearing the same outfits.  yes, that happened.
we decided to be completely ridiculous and wear matching "comfy" outfits for sister day complete with our custom "three peas in a pod" necklaces that I gave them before my wedding.  We thought it was hilarious, but didn't think through what other people would think or say when they saw us.  One person asked us if it was "like Disneyland - where you dress your kids the same so you don't lose them", others asked if we were there for a conference, a seminar, a retreat, etc...
no proper cheese fest would be complete without top 40 hits from our childhood (and a couple from the past 5ish years), so we also built a custom play list for the day...
as you can see, we have no shame.
and I have no trouble admitting that I belted out Wilson Phillips throughout my childhood, and all the way up Parley's Canyon on Wednesday.

I think if you're lucky enough to be good enough friends with your siblings to want to spend an entire day with them, you should go big or go home.

we shopped a lot, we dined a lot, we walked a lot, and we laughed A LOT.
it was so ridiculous, and so much fun.
I love them, and don't worry - we have already started planning SD August 2012. :)
